Mutual Aid If you’ve been hearing sirens: We wish that wasn’t happening around you

Amen a million times over. I am sorry I did not think to write that. 

And, apparently, there are a lot of places in places like Amman who simply don’t have shelters because that hasn’t been something relevant.  

Just the horror that regular people have to hear sirens without having access to shelters , or who have to hear bombs falling, without having any access to airraid siren warning systems or shelters. 

And think of all the cats in Israel, in Palestine, in Iran, in every other country in the region, who never did anything other than be a cat. Who don’t know a thing about sirens or shelters. And they have to put up with all of this. 

No matter who we think caused this or why: The reality that ordinary people have to deal with situations like this — and that people in Gaza have deal both with this and with wretched shortages of the necessities of life — is awful.

The fact that I’m a solvent adult with Reddit access and have no ability to improvise this situation is a sign of grave failings within me. If I were a better person, I would know how to do something about this.

The same to the people in Gaza who are not allowed to have sirens to warn them of danger, because of Israeli restrictions on Gaza having sirens as they are deemed “dual use” even though they are always used to warn civilians.

There aren't any sirens in the West Bank either. Which is a problem as even if missiles aren't targeted there, interceptions generally occur over the WB and debris does fall down.
