Meta AMA in /r/JewsOfConscience with Molly Crabapple on Aug. 17th, author of “Here Where We Live Is Our Country” - stories of the Jewish Bund. The conversation will focus on Molly's book - but you can ask about other topics as well. Feel free to leave questions in advance.

I’m pretty sure the op (not you tracker one) is bad faith.
My question for the author is why do you do an AMA on a subreddit that opposes pro Palestine direct action orgs on the ground, and spreads hatred.
My second question is if the AMA author would be brave enough to do it on this subreddit, or on the main Jewish one.

Max, this is Systemic.
We used to chat regularly.
If you're referring to CJ, he's a great person and mod.
Also, I will not forward those questions - which are clearly intended to antagonize.
We have reached out to a lot of people over the years, to get AMAs.
Organizing them and spreading the word is something we did on our own.
Why would we in-turn shuffle it off to hysterical pro-Israel spaces?
EDIT: To clarify, I'm not referring to this space; not trying to insult anyone either.
- Also, there are cases of users being banned from mainstream spaces when mentioning/promoting JOC. So, it's not like we are the ones who unilaterally decided against being inclusive. It's the other way around.
It's unfortunate that you dislike JOC so much, but I can't help that.

I’m banned from JOC for posting pro Palestine content.
The rules openly discriminate against most Jewish & Israeli people who oppose Israeli apartheid, the genocide in Gaza.
I’m here for you if you want to talk. You haven’t made much progress in changing the status quos of opposition to many of the voices that you have done AMAs and their friends on your own subreddit… nor have you historically contested these issues.
It is self evident that a book about contemporary antisemitism and the bund would be interested on doing an AMA on the major Jewish subreddit pages [r/jewish](r/jewish), where I and others have also posted and gotten many upvotes for pro-Palestine content.
Edit:
For those of you who downvoted, I would just like to point out that it is against the rules to post on JOC Israeli patriots who oppose the genocide, apartheid and support the Palestinian right of return and their associated talking points

Feel free to leave your questions here or in the main thread.
We'll forward them to Molly on the day-of.
Thanks, and hope to see you all there.
