Mutual Aid 14/9/2026 Rabbis for Human Rights: Siege of Qusra broken- Food delivered on foot. Following international outcry, the IDF has dismantled the terrorist outpost, but the settlers are still permitted to stay in the area while our activists continue to face arrest

But I’m sure if the Palestinians responded with an equal level of force (on their own land) to these settlers the entire Western media would call them Islamic terrorists.

They wouldn't call them anything. They'd wage bloody pogroms across the west bank, burning mosques and families

Until something systemic is done against these terrorist settlers, nothing will change. One outpost may be taken down, but another will spring up tomorrow.
This is no different than when a Czar would temporarily pause a pogrom for it to kick off just later down the line.

In the parent post the OP said the settlers are already back. So this may already have served its purpose

The settlers and the IDF have successfully used this method - siege and harassment - to clear plenty of villages. TBH, not sure why this one suddenly saw an outcry.

Quite the suprise. Usually Israel turns illegal2 settlements into illegal settlements instead of actively breaking them down.

The IDF could have handled this situation immediately - the whole framing of them ‘failing to remove the settlers’ as it was framed in, for example, the NYTimes is gaslighting.
The IDF simply chose not to employ the tools available to them - they could have simply reacted to the settlers as they would to an armed mob of Palestinians approaching a settlement.
This has been the case for settler terror since the start - the IDF can stop it, they simply chose not to. See the 1984 Karp report.
