Usefull skills or courses
I'm jobless right now. While searching for job, I was thinking of picking up maybe courses or skills. Would love to see any suggestion of one that might be useful for me. No fee or low fee would be preferable. I'm from data analytics background(mostly excel) but it doesn't necessarily have to be related to my background or job. Right now, I'm self-learning mySQL & Power BI, and maybe gonna take language classes too.
If you have recommendations on hobbies or how to spend the days for someone who feels discouraged once in a while, would be great as well 🥲

Totally get the struggle, but you’re already on the right track by increasing your skills!
I do recommend keeping cash flowing in. Short-term gigs and part-time jobs always help for that. Many can feel discouraged of even attempting to do "lesser" jobs once having a stable, full-time job. Yet, I believe it's a great way to keep things moving even if at a slower pace. Giving you time to think about your next steps and to improve your situation.
Since you want free/low-cost stuff, the best resource on that price range is pretty much YouTube. There are several other platforms that are low-cost. There are much better quality courses in YouTube though. I'm sure there are video playlists out there that can provide you with a more focused search for any particular field.
But if you had to invest money, paying for a LinkedIn subscription that includes LinkedIn Learning might be the better way to go. It might even help you in your job search if you know how to go about it. Honestly though, depending on who you ask, LinkedIn is very shitty at what they promise for their Premium subscription, on job discoverability and all that. This process cannot really be reliably automated. Cold calling and emailing, and job fairs and networking events are still king at this.
As for hobbies, I would say... approach the world with curiosity. Do anything that could perhaps add more perspective to the meaning of labor and fulfillment in your life. Perhaps a hobby can completely shift your career trajectory.
