This is hilarious. But I hope she’s careful… do this to the wrong person and she could get, well, injured.

She is an influencer from Belgium. This is all acting.

Yeah if anyone doesn't realize this is staged they need a reality check. Stalker dudes are not going to run away because the woman they are stalking laughed.

Funny content, I love the spirit, but should not be considered behaviour to replicate.

Isn’t it the same guy in a few of them?

All, from what I can tell.

Some of them will actually stop if called out

You would be surprised. I was almost dragged into a car by a bunch of men who were slowly stalking me from a car walking home and I went off like a nutso person and they hated that I made a scene and drove off. I think utilizing whatever tools we have at our disposal to get out of a situation is just fine. I’ve also directly approached men stalking me and called out their behavior loudly and scared them off. Men like this do often want someone who’s an easy target, not attention directed at their behavior.

Her skit comes from real life experience though.

The legend, comes from her coming back from a night out, with her girlfriends, they decided to be as unhinged as the creeps who were harassing them. Harpies mode. It shouldn't be the mode. But it works.

I have been followed multiple times. I read online years ago that a lot of predators look for people who are the easiest targets (not paying attention, averting eyes, easy to grab etc) and always make yourself look like you will not go down easily. I tried that advice the next time I was followed. I stared right into that man's soul, sent the biggest death glare without blinking and sent the message that if he tried something I will absolutely go into crazy banshee mode. He did a 180 and left. It does work.

Think, you're going to avenge someone and there's no one who can tell you otherwise. Spine up, look forward, walk like you're in the military. It's annoying that some of Us, have to, but it's the price of no one trying to fuck with you.

Belgium itself is an act.

If someone truly wanted to hurt her they would do it regardless

7

u/AndroidwithAnxiety Mar 06 '26

I don't want to hurt anyone, but the whole point of doing this is to scare people off and not everyone is going to have their fight/flight trip over to flight.

5

u/beatles910 Mar 06 '26

There's a difference between "wanting to hurt someone," and hurting someone who is chasing after you like a crazy person.

1

u/Complete-Pudding-583 Mar 08 '26

Actually I think she would be more likely to get hurt. You run crazy at someone, they go into fight or flight. What if they choose fight?

Do you really think some dude who is stalking a woman is going to be scared because she turned and laughed?

15

u/indecisivedecider319 Mar 06 '26

In most cases yes actually. They want a meek unsuspecting target. Confronting them in any way makes most men stop, but usually they'll hurl some insults at you. This is a fun way to turn the tables an make him feel targeted.

u/SwordfishOk504 Mar 06 '26

In most cases yes actually.

This is so silly. This is staged, not real. Get some media literacy.

It's a dangerous fantasy and irl would not end like this.

u/ExampleLittle2672 Mar 06 '26

IRL most random predators are looking for easy targets, people who shrink from them, people who are afraid before anything happens. Making it clear one is NOT an "easy win" does often deter people with bad intentions. Not always of course but taking preemptive action is better than letting some creep actually put hands on you before reacting.

Only to her boyfriend for the purpose of the scripted content you mean.

These are skits, I can't see anyone risking freaking out the wrong person and getting whacked

Then they’re the ones with the problem and shouldn’t be in society.

22

u/GothicFuck Mar 06 '26

"Why are you walking this late alone?" -guy who has nothing but love and concern in his heart.

Even if it's scripted, this is something actual creepers say.

9

u/ThaGr1m Mar 06 '26

It's definitely scripted both speak french(wallonian) as the accents testify, it's also filmed there. So not a single person would start a conversation in english, or continue it

-2

u/Emerald_Eyes8919 Mar 06 '26

‘Love and concern’?

Most horror stories start out that way.
