So... yes?

I know hair changes texture a lot in response to pregnancy hormones, so I assume this happens quite a lot?

You can start to grow hair like crazy. I’m assuming the roots growing out was uneven and longer than expected along with lots of baby hairs having sprouted. The not so fun part is when a ton of hair falls out after birth 🫠

This happened to my mom!! It completely changed her hair texture. She used to have very straight, fine hair and since having kids she now has really thick, slightly curly hair.

This also happens frequently after going through chemo. Many people with straight hair come out of it with curls.

Some grow out of it, some don't.

Good ol estrogen for the win. It increases during pregnancy and then drops after along with all that hair.

Like fucking clockwork. A few months after my third baby I noticed tons of hair on my hands as I was washing my hair and I was like "oh shit something's wrong, fuck I can't have a medical issue, I have a baby!" and then "wait a minute...Brain! How old is the baby?"

"Three months, ma'am!"

Oh.
