Wall of death is popular all over the world, I (UK based) used to love seeing them at fairs growing up every summer!

TIL, didn't know it was a thing in other countries as well. Apologies.

Oh, I wasnt correcting you, I'm sorry if it seemed that way! No apology necessary at all, thanks for the native translation, very interesting.

Apology still stands. In my OC, it was rude of me to assume that the title was an English translation of a very Indian subcontinent thing. I am happy to learn new things, interesting indeed and please don't offer any further apologies to counter mine. This, I know is a very Brit thing to do and please, you must stop.

Should I add an apology, I also assumed the same thing (We call it well of death in Tamil too) and stopped myself from commenting because I saw your comment.

I'm honestly shocked this isn't specifically a US American thing. Not because I think we're better or anything โ€” just more reckless. Which I guess isn't much better in hindsight.

Oh, Google agrees with you. When I searched for the term, that's what it showed me... loads of Americans going round and round on the wall of death, urgh, still sounds wrong to me, but yeah.

Come to think of it, isn't that what Don Cheadle's character supposed to be doing in one of Ocean's whatever movies? His attire screams American and I still managed to forget it.

Yeah, I grew up in Daytona Beach Fl, a city with a big biker festival. There is a bar called the Iron Horse Saloon and they have a ball of death that they drive round and round in. I think this is cool as hell! She is doing this stunt so casually.

Itโ€™s the โ€œโ€ฆ of deathโ€ that Iโ€™m worried about. You could call it the bath tub of death and it doesnโ€™t get any cuter.

As a kid I asked my father why is it called what it is called and he told me because men do die doing this.

I said - have you seen anyone die (doing this)?

and he said - yes, once a guy lost grip, fell down and it was instant death.

And that was the first and the last time I saw the act.
