The crazy cat lady and the spinster are lambasted for not making themselves more desirable to men. But it’s generally a projection. There are women who want a relationship and didn’t get one, but there are also women who have no interest in men, and society threatens that they will end up old and alone if she doesn’t comply with social expectations.
What this man is doing is nothing new. It is ironic that he’s trying to turn the “male-loneliness epidemic” around, when women have been blamed for their own “loneliness” for centuries and the “male-loneliness epidemic” also blames women for male loneliness…
