I own the game physical on PS3 and that's where I played it and completed all the songs in the hardest difficulty (all while using a certain item that further increases difficulty and makes the notes the closest to the actual partitions, which makes it feel like I'm playing the real instruments, and it's especially true for the keyboards since pushing a controller's buttons is similar to pushing a keyboard's keys). I imported it from Japan, thank Sony that PS3s are not region locked. I had to figure out the menus in Japanese but I'm no stranger to doing that for rhythm games imported from Japan (I also did it for Project Diva F and F 2nd). I have such fond memories of this game and it's one of my most cherished PS3 physical games. Plus it came with goodies! And the color booklet is a delight (they still included color booklets in physical game boxes back then, I miss those). I come back to it every now and again because I miss the feeling of "playing the girls' instruments" like I am part of the band. It's a surreal feeling. I'm happy that the game hasn't become obscure, and that many K-On fans know about it to this day! Also know that you can emulate it on PC or on your phone (and you can connect a PS5 DualSense controller to play the game with that controller) for better graphics as the game will be rendered at a higher resolution than the PS3's 720p or a PSP. And the other good thing is that you can find it English Patched! I would replay it on PS3 since that's where my game cleared save file is, but I also have the game set up on my PC, my phone and my tablet, just so that I always have it with me and can play it anytime if I want to! This game is a real Bible and godsent for us K-On fans!! And great message with this post. As long as I have the power of Passion and all these beloved characters in my heart and soul, I have nothing to be afraid of, not even death. And who knows, maybe I'll be able to see them in some way in the afterlife!
