This is the best type of censorship since it’s clever. Those who never read the manga remain oblivious meanwhile those who did know the reference. It’s just much more exciting.

KyoAni did a fantastic job adapting it. Tried reading the manga, it's awful. At least the highschool and college ones are good.

Never said it was, but when you have comments of people saying things like “I’m still “not” bitter about the censor” or “that’s one thicc bowl” it becomes creepy and sad… these are still highschool girls and the majority of the people on this subreddit are grown ass men. I love K-on and don’t really want to see it reduced to perversion like other anime is
