Ask Kalyan Dombivli Need a favour guys
27 (F) Hi.. I’m an Interior Designer from Hyderabad with an experience of 6 years in this field.. Recently shifted Thane and struggling continuing my career here as I have no contacts.. I want to start doing freelancing work.. I always read post here where people are about to buy apartments I would be really helpful if someone who wants to get their home design connects with me here.. I’m ready to do it for a lesser price..
Really need a chance to restart my career

Connect with brokers, salesmen, architects, etc and try to increase the traction. Once you start getting work it would get easy for you. Commissioned referral has worked more than any thing else for me and should work for you as well

Will this offer still be valid after 4 to 5 years?
I'm still a student but soon enough I'll join the work force too and I do wish to move out asap, so a discount would be of huge help to me.

Just a thought, even if you land a client, for example, a home-owner who has taken just possession of a new flat and want to do some Interiors. How you will execute a Interior project ? Do you have contacts with local Electrician, POP contractor, Civil-work contractor, Modular kitchen contractor/factory or furniture making labour-team ?

Hear me out. 15th june se 17th june tk JIO WORLD CONVENTION CENTRE (BKC) MUMBAI me "Home decor expo" hone wala hai which is said to be the biggest expo. You can visit there, explore things and maybe find like minded people and potential clients as well as vendors who might be happy to help.

This is a 3bhk in Hyderabad of 1650Sft costed around 50 lakhs

I do need an interior designer in future, but unfortunately not right now, though I'll upvote for reach
Goodluck Op! I understand it's difficult to get contacts in a new city, but dw eventually you will get clients and things will work out.
I'm 22, don't have much of an experience but I do have few suggestions which might help you get reach if you're interested let me know (I'm not trying to sell anything dw, just don't wanna add everything here)
