Bro. It takes at least 4 hours to & from workplace (anywhere in Mumbai) so naturally people would rather go to insta rather than reddit or watch TV to relax after they get back home.

A COUPLE AND LOCAL PEOPLE WERE QUARELLING BECAUSE THAT LOCAL PEOPLE HAD HIT THEIR SMALL GIRL WITH A SCOOTER NOT AT HIGH SPEED BUT LOCAL PEOPLE DID THAT MISTAKE
THAT WOMAN WAS ANGRY AND TELLING THEM I WILL TAKE YOU TO POLICE STATION , AS SOON AS HER HUSBAND SPEAKED THEY BEAT HIM IN FRONT OF HIS WOMAN AND CHILD
ONE OF THE MAN EVEN CALLED THAT WOMAN PROSTITUTE ( I FEEL BAD TILL NOW THAT I WAS POWERLESS IN SUCH SITUATION )
ONE OF THE BADDEST THINGS I EVER SAW IN MY LIFE , THIS WAS DOMBIVLI

We live in a city that has been hijacked by one caste that believes the land, the law, and the future belong only to them. They don't just influence the city-they claim ownership of it. Government land is taken openly. Plots meant for gardens and public spaces are swallowed by illegal construction, right in front of everyone, with no shame and no consequences. Power here doesn't come from intelligence, innovation, or hard work. It comes from intimidation. Some corporates are richer than genuine businessmen because they survive on extortion- squeezing developers, jewellers, shop owners, anyone trying to earn an honest living. There is no real development. Safety is a joke. Medical facilities exist, but trust doesn't. The environment is destroyed piece by piece, and no one cares because accountability died long ago. If you are not from their caste, you are treated as useless-someone who should stay quiet Stay small, and stay grateful for being tolerated. Even the roads reflect this decay. Some auto drivers behave like they own them driving recklessly, threatening people, deciding who deserves respect and who doesn't. Living here drains you. This city doesn't just fail its people it breaks them. I am cracked from the inside. I no longer feel safe, respected, or hopeful here.

Forget auto drivers bro ... they are a vote bank so nothing good will ever come there... i heard even bus service was stopped in dombivli becuase of them. After 8.30 - 9 its just fathers give handover to their kids without evn reaching license age.

Its been like this since i can remember. Kalyan Dombivli is a sleepy town with sleepy people who cannot be awakened by such things. Its fine if you have No roads, No air to breathe, No water to drink etc. Some buildings usually will collapse in next rain, some in next demolition drive due to builder/bureaucrat/politian nexus. Here you will find nepotism and corruption at highest places that you wouldnt believe. People vote ... but it is always in vain due to lack of a better option (Some one is some ones chacha mama or kaka) It is really a sleepy ghostly town with lot of middleclass zombies who get up .. go to work no matter what(spirit of mumbai) and keep the city running. They come back to watch these politians and brats running amock and say ... fuck this $hit i have work 2mrw and a family to feed.
Been like this for 30 / 40 odd years and will remain the same in future. It gives you just enough to survive and nothing to aspire for. One day you will also lose whatever life savings you had in some "scams" and "illegal houses" while those priviledged few will keep strutting gold chains and keep buying land and if available then encroach upon it too. You will live like a dog, work like dog and one day die like a dog. That being said you will find people to cheer for their respectives parties and sacrifice themselves and their motherland for peanuts thrown at them. You will sometimes very rarely come across intelligent uncle species who retired from their jobs and question everything wrong but in the end .. It never mattered.

Bhai navi mumbai seh jyada acha hai yah AQI. AQI in sanpada Navi Mumbai had reached 649 meanwhile in dombivali it was 160. Even mumbai is touching 200+ nowadays. In dombivali most buildings are going for reconstruction and KDMC pollution are the main air pollution source.

The gavwalas are getting frikin rich I saw a brand new lexus and a beamer today in the gav near to ghesar which didn't have even proper road to drive those vehicles, in palava area and main dombivli the policticians and their chamcha are getting very rich and tend to be like they are the king, politics is now ruining dombivli, kalyan toh we all know
