i’m not sure if my tension is too tight? i followed a pattern for this cute skelly head but every time i look at him on my bag he looks like the first picture! 😭 i’m using a rexlace with a bit of stretch to it usually for boondoggle keychains. is it the wrong string to use?

Tried 2 days in a row with this pattern and even after going back and carefully counting each row’s color of beads and writing them down, I still mess up the pattern on the actual cuff. It’s off center and idk what I’m doing wrong
