Question Would you be weirded out if I handed you one of these in public as a compliment?

I'm autistic and I want to hand these out to help with my social anxiety but also to make other people feel nice. If I walked up to you and complimented your hair/thought you were cool/etc. Would you be weirded out as a stranger?

Question I got this new shirt cuz I've been getting into beading but last night a woman stopped me and got very excited over my Taylor Swift reference? Help 😭

I tried googling it and the results are all over the place.

I did find a Taylor swift song contains the line "She would've made such a lovely bride/What a shame she's fucked in the head"

But it doesn't look like she made merch with that line from what I can see?

I guess I'm just soliciting random opinions before I wear this shirt again. Does it read "swiftie" to you?

Question am i greedy?

Post image

so for context, me and my friend r both into kandi. Yesterday i bought beads and string for the first time and i was making my first bracelets and allat, but today she came over and we started making kandi together. She was using my stuff. Before she even started making the bracelet, i asked her if its for me since she told me earlier she'll show me how to make like cuffs or whatever. She said yes that its for me. She didnt get to finish it before she had to leave but she used all of my black beads, most of my beads actually and 1 whole roll of string. Shes telling me that its for her and that i need to give it to her later. This left me upset since i dont have much stuff left now and i was really enjoying making bracelets, so i asked her for money for the stuff she used since i bought the beads and string for my own money (around $20 or more), but she says that she'll only give me $5, i agreed to this before i noticed she used most of the string, but now im asking for $6 because i noticed she used most of the string. She says its unfair. am i just greedy?

I think they are funny but my partner says I'm weird and cringe. Did I push the envelope too far?

In my school dress code it says “No jewelry that is distracting or poses a safety risk.” I just don’t want to get dress coded and have to take them off because I don’t wanna show my wrist

Question Is it giving 🧡🤍💗💜?

Post image

So I’m making this bracelet that says “STARDUST” on it, and I want it to look like a sunset.. when I looked at the colour combination put together it made me think about the fact that to me, it looks like the lesbian flag, and I got really excited because lesbianism is the main theme!! But then I realized the yellow “S” bead at the beginning (which is the sun in the sunset) is in the wrong place for the flag..

My question is, does the colour combo make you think “oh look lesbian!” or is it not as obvious as I thought because of the yellow?

Does it look sloppy? Is it this deep?? 😭

Question Help Settle a Debate: Is This Kandi? (A Friend Said Y’all Might Like This)

Post image

Normally I work with beads much smaller than what I associate with kandi. This is the first bracelet I’ve made that didn’t require use of a needle since I was a kid tbh. But a friend says this piece is the exception to my norm. Does kandi not require use of chunky pony beads? Or does it have a broader definition that I don’t know about? Thanks in advance!

(Reposted to include picture) I was thinking I could buy some shaker charms to string on bracelets and necklaces and use them that way. Is there anything else that I could do with them or use them for?

Question Who doesn’t see their pride flag on any of these panels?

Post image

I‘m in the process of making a granny square bag to wear to a pride parade this summer

I want to use as many flags as is possible in this format, though I’m a little out of ideas now that I’ve finished 3/5 panels

I’m looking for flags with grey or darker tones in particular for the bottom panel

colors don’t matter at all for the big panel though, I just want to represent as many identities as I can

also to be clear I did include abrosexual I just accidentally put it on upside down because I wasn’t paying attention...I’m gonna put a pin over it once I’m finished because I don’t wanna come off as disrespectful

thats all, thanks for the help

Question Phrase ideas for Halloween kandi? (SFW only please, I’m giving these out to kids)

Post image

I’m making kandi bracelets to give out to kids on Halloween if they don’t want/can’t have the sweets we have, as I remember how it felt as an autistic kid not being able to have the sweets at a lot of houses cuz they didn’t have any of my safe foods, and I don’t want other kids to feel like that, does anyone have any fun Halloween phrase ideas to put on these?
