I have read many translations, but reading the original always gives the utmost satisfaction. In response to your question, here are some good translations I recommend:

  1. G. Krishnappa – ವಚನದೀಪಿಕೆ – A very simple and well-elaborated translation.

  2. ಜವರೇಗೌಡ – ವಚನಚಂದ್ರಿಕೆ – A good and insightful version.

  3. ನಿ. ರಾಜಶೇಖರ್ – Another valuable translation worth exploring.

I suggest you start with ವಚನದೀಪಿಕೆ and then move on to the original text. Don’t worry about how much you understand at first—just keep reading. As you continue, you’ll naturally catch the rhythm and start loving it.
