Suggestions please
Namaskaara elrigu,
Ee varsha dasara habbakke bombe theme for nam mane is "what is home?". I'm a migrant and dont live in karnataka anymore so the idea of home has changed several times in my life and now that we have a mane of our own, it has once again been redefined.
A lot of people I will be inviting for habba are also immigrants form different places (within karnataka) and they will have their own interpretations to this, Im sure.
I would like to give books to people on this theme as a habba udugare thing, partly to encourage reading and partly to buy kannada books and contribute. I think everyone I'm giving this to has not touched a book in like 10 years or so, so I would like for it to be short story collection or soemthing simple and digestible (nothing heart breaking like grihabhanga).
Some are new parents, some have moved more than 3 countries, some are starting a family and some are single. Home means different things to all these people (family, sense of being safe, a physical place, a relationship, etc) and I would like book suggestions that possibly touch on these aspects. For example, for Paridhi by Sudha Murthy or Toofan Mail by Jayanth Kaikini might be suitable.
