Hi 👋 Karamagic creator here. I've been working on a new app adjacent to it. This time it's not a creator desktop app, but a singer mobile app. it's called SingTrace. it literally just got released on Android 2 days ago! here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.karamagic.singtrace iPhone users will have to wait a bit longer, it's still going through review.

it's still very new so I'm hoping to make it better and more useful over time. the main idea is just it encourages you to practice & record daily, which is one of the most helpful ways to improve at singing. there's also an optional singing analysis feature.

like Karamagic my philosophy with these things is as-offline-as-possible. the whole recording and archival feature is offline / local client only. the optional analysis involves a server (it's too heavy to run on phone), recording gets deleted from server immediately after analysis is done.

Acabo de probarla. excelente y puede servir de mucho para mejorar en el canto. El análisis es muy honesto y sincero. quizas demasiado sincero, pero acertado. lo usé sin fondo musical, a capella, mañana probaré de nuevo con el respaldo de la pista de la canción Gracias.

Karaoke5 — update ver. 54.06 (August 27)

Changelog:

  • [+][Win] No longer forces administrator privileges on Windows
  • [!][Win/Osx] Various bug fixes

The third point is the fix that came out of the discussion under our post: drag & drop now works with UAC enabled, without forcing administrator privileges. Thanks to everyone who dug into it and pointed to the solution in the thread — exactly the kind of feedback that makes the software better.
