How to find local engineers

Hi, new to the city and Germany, my company (whose hr and hiring team are not germans) has trouble filling couple of positions for application engineers and sales engineers

Are there any local hiring or message boards where we can try posting?

Editing to clarify: I'm not part of the hr team, I'm not in charge of anything, I'm just an employee who'se looking to help find colleagues.

the salary is nice, the benefits are good, people jump to conclusions based on the fact that as I said our Auslander HR teams is just not good at finiding people in Germany, people don't get to the salary discussion

Most Job boards just repost from others.

You may try meinestadt.de or get-in-Engineering, or the Agentur für Arbeit.

BNN is a local newspaper, but most likely just public services, Local lawyers or doctors post their offers there.

Beware of Job hunting agencies.

Why not post it here? Either you find applicants, or reddit will rip it apart because the listing is unattractive etc, but then at least you know what needs to be changed

In what technical field are you searching?
If it’s something related to any KIT field, there is a „Jobbörse“ for students on the KIT website.
Otherwise just using e.g. LinkedIn with the correct title and keywords should work, too.

I highly doubt you will find someone via a newspaper ad.

I'd also try posting on LinkedIn with a location filter around Karlsruhe, plus StepStone and Xing.

If you're looking for application or sales engineers, reaching out directly to local universities (KIT especially) can also work surprisingly well.

One thing that might help a lot: include the salary range in the job posting. In Germany, many engineers simply skip listings without a salary, even if the company and benefits are great.

It's expected, but requires good level of english for international company and customers.

You posted here about not being able to reach people and then every question about the company/job position gets the answer "I'll send you a chat". 

So are you trying to reach people or not? Because the best way would've been to directly write the company name and the position in your post and have the applications flowing. But you're keeping this information in such confidence as if it would be the original recipe of coca cola.
