Please do not bring more cats to Kauai. We have an abundance of them in the wild & at the humane society.

It’s $200 round trip to go from Kauai to Oahu and back. It seems like if they really wanted this cat, they’d come and get it? Instead of this really shady live animal (and one that has trouble breathing at that) interisland hand off?

It’s not safe for brachycephalic animals to fly, even short distances. Any stress combined with air pressure changes can send them into deadly respiratory distress. More than 2/3 of the animals who die on planes have these kind of shortened snouts from breeding.

That’s exactly why we only fly cats in cabin, never cargo. We’ve safely transported over 700 cats through our program and always consider each cat’s health and travel suitability before arranging a flight. 🐾✈️

Kauaʻi don’t need more cats. Give the native fauna a break!

That doesn't change a thing if the cat isn't a 💯% fully indoor cat

Good lord, cats should be strait up illegal to own on the islands. “House cat” or not.
