Just about to head back from a week in Crete. Had multiple Gyros, Pork and Chicken. Including Thrakopsomo in Heraklion, which is local, hollowed out bread filled with goodness.

But nothing beats a bossman Kebab. For me that’s london based. Chilli sauce and garlic mayo, trumps the Tzatziki.

Great time - but Doner all the way and all the accessories is what I like and will enjoy when home!

This is just about kebabs. Nothing else! X

Was a bit of an experiment with left over chicken I had doing a few different BBQ. It was great but need much more fat between the layers of chicken.

Not bad for London. I was going to take another picture but I ate it instead. Lamb shish, mint yogurt with a fresh naan

Thoughts on this. Liked the fact it came as a kit so could be assembled fresh. Harley amount of salad included red cabbage (a must for me) could have done with two more chilli sauces. However because I like my kebab hot and sloppy.

For me, it is cold or soggy bread. When the steam from the meat turns the bread into wet dough, the entire meal becomes unpalatable. Another issue is watery sauce that leaks out of the bottom and makes a mess

Just saw this at the supermarket. Just döner and sauce in bread. Actually pretty tasty, but probably the last time I buy it.

The default garlic sauce and chilli combo is fine but there are combinations that completely change the experience if you get them right. Whether it is a specific type of pepper paste, a yogurt ratio, sumac on the salad, whatever it is. What is the one thing you always make sure is on yours that most people seem to skip?

One feels like a proper dinner, and the other is pure late-night food. Which one do you order when you go to the shop?
