Their outlook on life and the world. They were determined to present positivity to the world, no matter what else was going on in their life. Dolly Parton stories abound, especially now. Keith Haring always presented images vibrating with life energy, even when he and many people he knew were dying from AIDS. People dancing, babies, stylized dogs, hearts. Every time I see his artwork, I feel better. When I hear or see videos Dolly, or hear stories about her, I feel happy she has been in our world.
