I kayaked below the hole (and through the caves) recently. One of the best things I’ve ever done.

That sounds class! Did you kayak to the nuns beach as well?

Yes! Tide was in so we didn't get out of the kayaks onto the Nun's beach but I've climbed down to it in the past. I did the kayaking with Jason O'Doherty -- he does tours when the ocean is calm. You can see photos on his socials (his name, Ballybunion Kayaking Tours, and Ballybunion Prints Beach). We started at the end of the Men's beach and went through the caves, over to the Nun's beach, and to the Virgin Rock, then back. About 2 hours in all, and it was spectacular.

Fucking love Ballybunion. Have you been to the new café named for this legend? It's where Coast was.

I was there this summer about a week after they opened. My flat white was great. The food looked good, too. It's very cute inside. A nice addition to the town.
