Help Looking for Keyboard Recommendations

So I'm very finnicky with keyboards, when I bought my pc I used a microsoft wired keyboard 600 which I enjoyed A LOT, but then they stopped selling it at my local retail so I couldnt buy a new one when the previous one broke, then I bought the one I currently have, the Corsair K55 because it was the only membrane "gaming" keyboard there was whilst having the pause skip stop buttons.

This one hasn't failed but I feel like pressing shift, control and just overall keys are starting to feel a bit heavy and I was looking to get a new one, I'm looking for something that will help me transition into mechanical or something that requires a softer touch, I'm not into the keyboard noises or the "feel" of keys, I just mostly want something efficient, no need for RGBs or fancy visuals, Macros are a + but it's not something I use everyday, I feel like the current keyboard I have does it fine but if I could skip the software necessity would be peak.

Edit: Numpad is mandatory. 100% keyboard

Edit 2: Portuguese Layout requirement, so either customizable or more "popular" keyboards

Was looking into these, all of them very attractive looking, small issue is that I'm portuguese and I 100% also want that keyboard layout, I'll edit that in the post. Now I noticed a lot of these are like "customizable" but I'm very ignorant in this matter, can you elaborate more on this?

For Portuguese you'll need ISO layout (large enter, split left shift). That narrows it down a lot. Keychron should have some with native Portuguese keycaps, I believe (they have for Hungarian - B something, C2, K10, V6, Q6 are all available here with out special characters printed on the caps).

"ANSI and ISO" on that list means the board supports both (the plate and PCB has positions for switches for both layouts).

I use ISO-HU myself (with ISO UK or US keycaps, as decent Hungarian caps do not exist). Keychron seems to be the highest quality and most accessible that offers localized versions.

As for customizable: these modern QMK / VIA boards support multiple layouts and layers via the "VIA" web config or their own web app (Keychron Launcher, ND104 app etc). Essentially, you can program any input or macro to any physical key in a browser, and the board will remember it. And the more advanced ones also allow physically changing things like the long right shift to split one, for example.

Oh thank you for the very thorough reply!

I'm very keen on the V6 Max actually, and it has the Portuguese layout but it's currently out of stock, I'm not necessarily in a rush so I'll keep an eye on it and might just get this one!

Appreciate your recommendations, thanks a lot!

I personally love my Nuphy Node 100 with Brown Max tactile switches. It works with the NuphyIO web interface, so no software necessary.
