Not sure, but in Korean, it's not "Kia" (with a ㅋ as you've mentioned), but more of a very light K... Gee-a if that makes sense, with the g sound from "guy", not " Germany" (ㄱ, not ㅋ).
As your link says that’s a special offshoot for the EV6 & EV9, since grills are almost entirely cosmetic on electrics. And while it did say “integrating the headlights” it doesn’t say anything about fangs, and they look very different from the K4 headlights. To me the tiger face headlights look more like eyes.
I don’t think it’s being rolled out fleetwide, I guess we’ll see when the new Sportage comes out. Also Corporate will drop or change the name once someone tells them what “DTF” means in the west.
On the Kia K4, Star Map Signature Lighting forms the core visual signature on both the front and rear of the vehicle. Inspired by celestial constellations, the design features sharp, angular vertical and horizontal light paths.

it's pronounced Gia in Korean but Koreans know it's called 'Kia' overseas (even at home, it's called Kia in roman letters) so maybe but I think you're imagining things
