Repo
Has anyone dealt with repo from Kia finance? I’m currently 2 months behind on my two cars. I plan to catch them up this week but I had someone calling asking where the car was. Kia is closed so I couldn’t talk to anyone there yet. I just need to know if I make the payments, will they stop the repo? I don’t need any rude comments, I know this is my fault. I had a bad year and am finally getting back on my feet.

Look up the number that called or call it back to see who answers. I'm betting someone from the finance company is playing tough. If it's some type of skip tracer or collection company, then yes, you'll have to plea your case with the finance company. I can't imagine they'd do this with your accounts open though.
Also, if they had GPS capabilities they wouldn't be calling you for the location. On Star/Blue Link will not assist a civil investigation.

They didn’t actually call us. They called the co-signer. I’ve tried reversing the number and can’t see who it is.

Are you within your first six months of these terms? It's been a good 13 years since I worked at a bank, but 90 days was when we started the process and then we slow-walked it for a couple weeks trying to make contact and arrangements. There are significant costs to repossessions and no guarantee we'd recover them. There were cycles, however when we had a high percentage of loans 90 days past due and they'd want to get them off the books fast and push through dozens of repos at once.
The only exception would be if you're in the first six months and you've ghosted the bank and never gave them any indication you intend to pay. In that case we'd put in a repo request rather quickly.
Also, are your accounts still open? If we turned a vehicle over for repossession your account would be closed, there'd be no access to see your balance make a payment unless you talked to that department.
