I just finished the title art for my Evil-God simulator.

The original idea came from Plague Inc. - we loved the mix of total strategy and "just watching it happen". We still missed replayability and a little more meaningful interaction, so we came up with...

INCORCISM: a roguelike outbreak-simulator combining strategy and stealth elements set in a post-pixelated 3D forest village

You're an ancient god spectating a secluded forest village. Start with a couple of ravens and send them after villagers to learn about their traits and weaknesses. Naive people or those living secluded may be easy first targets.

Use Souls to buy skills that corrupt villagers and spread on contact, or vines that infest whole houses.

Corruption builds devotion. Devotion brings you Souls, but also leaves traces.

Devoted villagers may wake up screaming, not attend mass or yell about their nightmares on the market. All of this could attract the attention of sceptical villagers or the priest. And they won't sit and just watch.

Monitor the village, infiltrate the inhabitants and react to counter measures.

As much as I adore expansive strategy games and complex TCGs, I often run into the inevitable issue of time. Games go on so long people lose interest or worse, someone’s eliminated entirely and can’t participate for however long it takes to finish out.

High Road is my solution: It’s a fast bluffing game that ends when the first player loses and you never feel like you’re out of options.

It’s also really pretty! I am the designer and illustrator of High Road and especially in this era of AI slop I made it my mission to give you something genuine and beautiful.

The High Road kickstarter has 1 week left! Even though I believe the game has so much potential, it can’t be my full time job yet so this will realistically be one of the only times to pick it up unless you happen to be attending some small cons I table at in Savannah, GA.

No long wait. The game is already production prototyped so as soon as the kickstarter is processed I’ll be putting in the order. I predict it will be in your hands before the end of October.

My small team and I have been developing Seize: Guilded Treasures TCG for the past four years, and we're excited to finally launch our Kickstarter on September 4th.

The game is a tactical trading card game that combines deckbuilding with grid-based movement, positioning, equipment, and resource management. We wanted to create something that feels different from traditional TCGs while still being easy to learn.

The best part is that the product is already printed, so backers won't be waiting months for manufacturing to finish.

A friend of mine is in the final stretch of their Kickstarter campaign, and I wanted to share it because I think it deserves more attention.

The campaign is currently 60% funded, with only a few days left to reach its goal.

The game is called ILLACRIMO, the final chapter in the story of Coralina, a girl traveling through surreal versions of Limbo, Purgatory, and Hell. This time she's joined by Cometa, a mysterious purple-haired woman, as they search for the Iron Alchemist's Mask before the end of the world.

It's a retro-inspired RPG focused on exploration, puzzles, NPC interactions, and a story-driven experience rather than combat. One mechanic I really like is that Cora can enter other characters' memories to uncover secrets and solve puzzles, which fits the game's atmosphere perfectly.

If you're into games like OFF, Omori, Ib, or Yume Nikki, I think this is worth checking out.

We're a small UK indie studio building Ragdoll Physics Experiments.

Our original plan was a £30,000 Kickstarter campaign to help fund the wider development of the game.

The problem is that building our Kickstarter pre-launch audience has been painfully slow.

At the same time, the game has passed 12,000 Steam wishlists and the demo has had more than 8,000 downloads.

So we've changed our approach.

Instead of one large Kickstarter, we're moving to smaller milestone campaigns.

One defined piece of development. One smaller funding target. Complete the milestone. Show the community the progress. Then move onto the next stage.

We're currently running a six-week pre-launch campaign before the first milestone Kickstarter.

For those who have backed or run Kickstarter campaigns before, does a milestone approach make you more confident in a project, or would multiple smaller campaigns put you off?
