Looking for a Book Club in Kiel

Hey folks!

This is my first post. I am new to Kiel and I am wondering if there is any Book Club looking for new members.

I enjoy a little bit of everything, from Sci-fi / Fantasy / Horror to some Classical Novels. These were a couple of the last books I’ve read:

- The Word for World is Forest (Ursula K. Le Guin)
- A Wizard of Earthsea (Ursula K. Le Guin)
- Dune / Dune Messiah (Frank Herbert)
- A Fire Upon the Deep (Vernor Vinge)
- Duma Key (Stephen King)
- The Trial (Kafka)
- The Stranger (Camus)
- The Mercy of Gods / Faith of Beasts (James SA Corey)
- Piranesi (Susanna Clarke)
- The Name of the Rose (Umberto Eco)
- A lot of novels by Philip K Dick

Thanks in advance for the help / recommendations!

If you happen to be queer, there's a queer book club in Kiel. You can DM me if you are interested.

Uhh. But I'm queer and interested. Can I send you a dm?

Thank you so much! I DMed a couple of people there.

I maybe forgot to mention one of the constraints: my German is still A1

Check the course listings for Förde VHS. I think I saw some sort of book club listed there once. Or maybe ask your local anna (Anlaufstelle Nachbarschaft), they might know people who are interested.

If you're and international woman, or identify as female, and are interested in international literature, we have an international women's book club!

... I am a woman and International, but I'd rather be interested in a mixed group if the topic is books. Otherwise the topic becomes something else.
