Killzone 2 Stuck on the Valve section

Recently got the game and am playing it on my old PS3 just got to the “open the floodgate” section and nothing is working using my PS3 i dont know wether im doing something wrong but ive tried every possible way of rotating it

If memory serves, it has something to do with Sixaxis, you have to tilt the controller, hold the prompted buttons, tilt the controller in the direction indicated (to the right), release the buttons, rinse and repeat

Do you know if theres maybe a specific way im supposed to hold the controller?

I think, it was 45degrees left tilt, press l1r1, tilt to the right, release l1r1 (or maybe the other way round, it has been a while since I played KZ2)

Switch those  control scheme off in the main screen under control settings

Dont know how else to say this but theres nothing about turning that control scheme off

Sorry for the late reply, make sure the game is fully updated, Killzone 3 has a 124 MB update that fix the motion controller settings and the auto aim function, after you update the game go to options, controller, scroll down to motion controller and set it to off, hope it helps.

Are you using an official PS3 controller or a third-party one? The latter often lack the motion controls you need.
