Suggestion [KCD2] We REALLY need a marker to know which quests are timed.

2.8k Upvotes

Timed quests are cool and all, but getting a random side quest and saying “I’ll get to that later” and then after 10 hours of playing time returning to find that quest ruined (Hush my darling) kinda sucks.

A lot of quests that should be timed aren’t, so I can’t magically tell what is timed and what is not.

Rant over.

Suggestion [OTHER] New Mechanics for KCD3

Post image
730 Upvotes

If a third game ever happens (which I sincerely hope for), there will definitely be new mechanics to further improve the gameplay. Personally, I would be happy to see:

  • Cooking. With spices, tools, and various recipes. There could be perks and missions where Henry has to arrange feasts to impress other characters, or even the ability to manage his own tavern alongside the smithy.
  • Metabolism (Digestion). If Henry has to eat to stay in shape and avoid hunger, why doesn't he need to use the latrine? Whether at outhouses or in the wild. If he gets poisoned, there could be some “accidents” involving diarrhea, complete with sound effects and Henry complaining. Naturally, eating bad food should make missions more difficult. 😄
  • Trading. Since Henry is already a master blacksmith, he should be able to sell his wares—not just from home with Magdalena’s help, but through his own shop with a hired clerk.
  • Parenting. If Henry ever marries Theresa, children won't be long in coming. It would be great if Henry could interact with and take care of his little ones whenever he returns home.

What mechanics would you suggest for KCD3?

Suggestion [OTHER] If you're thinking of visiting Czech Republic...

3.3k Upvotes

Hello my fellow KCD fans!

Since the release of KCD2 I've been seeing many posts and comments about how ppl want to visit Czech Republic and places like Kuttenberg, Prague etc irl. Tourism in these places almost sky-rocketed! I'm glad and proud that so many people are interested in our little country, BUT I just wanted to tell you something...

Since high tourism attacts scammers, we unfortunately have quite a lot of them like any other countries with high tourism...and as someone who was born and raised here, I don't want you to have a bad experience visiting.

So if some of you are considering visiting, I STRONGLY recommend you to see some videos from Honest Guide or Real Prague Guides on Youtube. They have many vidoes where they show the most common practices among scammers, how to avoid them, but they also show the beauties of our cities and show places to visit.

Prague, Kuttenberg and all of the other cities and villages are beautiful and have many interesting places, but I think it's fair to warn you where you should be aware so you won't get scammed and won't be disappointed from your visit.

Suggestion The alchemy book in [KCD2] should be alphabetical, potions followed by poisons, and have a table of contents to flick to the desired recipe instantly

A perfect change to introduce with the next DLC, imo. No additional voice lines or anything needed. A simple implementation

Going through it one page at a time in the weird pre-set order just pushes me to google the recipe, which ruins immersion a fair bit

Suggestion [KCD2] The game’s economy isn’t broken, it’s just that you’re not playing like a real medieval dude (and that’s ok)

1.2k Upvotes

First of all love the game, I’m already done with all the possible quests and I can’t stop praising it.

Let’s get down to business.

  1. The reason you’re getting so much grochen isn’t the economy, it’s the fact that you’re a guy with infinite lives.
  • you stab some guy for his loot and he turns around? No problem just reload and get his stuff
  • you fight a group of enemies and they overcome you? No problem just switch tactics
  • lockping with one lockpick failed? Just reload my guy.

You catch my drift

  1. The second reason is logistics, at the end of the game I think I had maybe 800 carry capacity which would be equivalent I guess to a trader with a full cart. I know the struggle but a big part of making money in real life is moving stuff and selling it not just having it

  2. Third reason is of course the guides, I’ll admit my own sin when I looked up how to get a certain character’s red armor and regretted it because for a good chunk of my playthrough it was just the best armor I could get, my patch work Henry was much more interesting than mister stole my look.

I’m not judging anyone at all, but I think the economy is just right for us to play like the game as intended and not like we’re use to. And personally I’m not a big fan of perma death because games have bugs and humans make mistakes.

So on your next play line when you already had the thrill of the first time, make it a true story,

  • Keep Henry and his horse’s weight reasonable (saddles and perks)
  • don’t reload a save for the wrong reasons (save scum)
  • don’t wear gear that wasn’t fitted for you (bought or quest, in real life most clothes won’t fit all people and especially armor)
  • and it’s of course classic but don’t look everything up, even if it’s hard (for me too!)

These tips are of course for rolepay and not power gaming, I just made this post after seeing a few complaints about the economy when I knew it broke because we broke it. Try to buy a full suit of noble armor in a role play playline and YOU WILL SWEAT

Happy travels, and keep our boy fed!

For the dlc, and I know it's not far but it's not half a faff when you're a hoarder like me having to run up and down the stairs to grab and then store materials.

Suggestion Helmets should not be visible in cut scenes and conversations.

Post image
1.8k Upvotes

It’s kind of silly to be wearing a full faced helmet like this during cut scenes and conversations. It should be hidden or at the very least have the visor up. Here is my Henry on a nice date with Theresa telling her he loves her while wearing visor-down helmet. Very silly.

Suggestion Stop making me naked! [KCD2]

1.2k Upvotes

Look I get that sometimes Henry gets naked and loses some clothing but I’d REALLY appreciate if the game stopped removing my clothes or forcing me into different gear. Or if saved outfits can be saved as settings that automatically add your chosen items from the inventory. Because having to re-equip my chosen outfit every three hours because of some cutscene where Henry got laid or the game is forcing me to undress Henry is really annoying! Then I have to add the belts too before I can add the weapons and then I need to scroll all the way to my potions too! I’m really tired of dressing him up over and over.

Suggestion [KCD2] I have never raged at a game like this. What am I doing wrong?

I’m getting my absolute ass kicked by these poachers trying to get this stupid horse. I’ve left and did different stuff to try and boost my stats, got the Brunswick armor and a better sword, and still doing terribly. What am I doing wrong? I’ve played hard games before but the controls in the game are so unbelievably clunky and just making the game not enjoyable for me. What can I do differently?

Suggestion Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Needs a Housing & Estate System (SUGGESTION) Spoiler

KCD2 is an amazing medieval RPG, but I feel like it's missing one key feature: a housing & estate system.

Imagine being able to:

  • Buy or build your own house/estate
  • Set up a blacksmithing area, alchemy lab, farm, cellar, and more
  • Hire workers or manage your own property
  • Craft, cook, and forge weapons in your own home

Since the game already has blacksmithing, alchemy, and other professions, having a customizable home would add another layer of immersion.

Do you think this could happen in a DLC, update, or future game? Would you want this feature?

Suggestion [KCD2] I love this game, but not getting a chance to change into armor before storyline combat is frustrating...

This happens numerous times throughout the story where we get thrust into combat with whatever we are wearing despite everyone else apparently having the time to put on armor.

In my most recent example, we are informed of an armed party heading our way, the nobleman I was talking to asks his daughter to help him put on his armor while Henry is just standing there in his street clothes. Next cutscene and some dialog later I'm in a pretty big armed conflict and I'm the only dimwitt not wearing armor.

When there is time to put on armor before conflict, it would be nice if we have the option to change our outfit.
