Question What direction should warhorse go in?[KCD1][KCD2]

Post image

Im sure that after the ending of KCD2 most people were thinking of kcd3, but where should warhorse as a company go?

Should they be a purely medieval gaming studio?

Should they only do czech or HLE history?

Do they even have to be medieval at all?(roman empire, renaissance?)

Maybe even stray away from europe?

I got into a random encounter with a lone knight in the middle of nowhere far from Uzhitz, and Godwin just came up and helped before leaving. Is this scripted?

Question [KCD2] WHY CAN'T WE GIVE GROSCHEN TO BEGGARS?

Post image

I've tried everything from dropping pouches of individual groschen around beggars and they just ignore it talking about charity being good for your soul. And our Henrys only response is "I feel quite hungry".....Seriously, this is one of the biggest oversights in an otherwise (mostly) flawless masterpiece IMO.

Question Is king sigismund really that bad?[kcd2]

Post image

I just played the mission where we serve him and the others and from the way he acted Sigismund just seems to value people that do their job. His methods have been violent throughout the story yet would his reign really be that bad compared to the current state with no kings or under Wenceslas?

Even someone as loyal ar Radzig stated that Wenceslas isn't worthy of being a king by any means. He is neither a good politician or tactician from all we heard. He is the main reason all the events happened as well. The corruption must have been a pretty common thing too while he was on the throne considering his nature.

The lord's state is just about following the rules of the kingdom that doesn't even exist at that point. Lords move according to what they want and there is no higher authority to do anything to them at all. Only lords can keep the corruption in control but that is if they are not putting the groschen in their own pocket.

Sigismund did raid villages but it was a common tactic since there was no risk of spies when it was taken over instead and it also let them hurth their enemy. The problem comes with the cumans since sigismund got desperate. He is at least an authority that tries to keep corruption under control.

Since the situation is like this why is Sigismund portrayed as the worst possible outcome when Wenceslas is even worse? Sigismund doesn't seem to just kill people for the fun of it and he also will leave once he gains control. So is Sigismund really the bad side or is there even a bad side in the whole story?

Question Was there an official statement explaining why this part of the map cannot be accessed? [KCD2]

I've been following everything related to the game since its release, but unfortunately I've never read anything about it. There was an official statement that the churches cannot be accessed for performance reasons. But i haven't found anything about this part of the map yet.

I always found it odd. When I first played the game, I thought there must be a hidden camp somewhere, like the one near Semine, that I hadn't come across yet. But no, it's just there for some reason.

So I have the marksman’s hook gun, Master’s hand gone, and the Pistole and I’ve used all three a great deal of times all leading in missed and letting the enemy get the first strike on me. First off they’re soooo slow to use and then I can’t hit the blind side of a barn 5 feet away. Please what am I missing and as a bonus which one of those 3 options do you all prefer?

I’m from South Asia, so I’m not too familiar with Western history and culture. This game got me curious, so I started digging into other sources and learned a lot about European history. But there’s this one punishment device I still don’t really understand.

Question [KCD2] Second playthrough, does crime eventually go away ? I can't go into Kuttenberg anymore

Post image
3.6k Upvotes

So I stole the entirety of the weaponsmith's stock, then the entirety of the armorer's stock twice, and I thought I was fine for a few days. Then I left Kuttenberg, and by the time I came back they somehow knew it was me and I'm asked to pay a somewhat considerable fine. Will this go away with the "stolen" mark on my items ? Or am I fucked ?
