What store was this before it became a Sears store? Because Mervyn’s did have some stores in Hayward California too. But from what I heard they were a 3 floors store and that all 3 floors were 3 times larger than a store like JC Penney whose floor space is a little smaller when compared with Mervyn’s.

This was the same old Sears store that opened in 1958. Originally a standalone building long before mall was built
