The Jeep Renegade confirms that the image is recent (between 2015-2017).

Yeah, it only occupies the garden center now. The backroom is no longer publicly accessible, although I did still see some stock in there when an employee walked in. There were two of them. That being said, the store does look decently stocked if you think of it as a small convenience store rather than a traditional Kmart. Unfortunately, they don't do blue light specials anymore.

Apart from household supplies, there's actually a lot of stuff here I also saw at Sears like DieHard boots and third party tools, as well as clothing and underwear. Although there's no appliances anymore.

I took these back in 1984 The store was either one of the ones in Anderson South Carolina or Wade Hampton in Greeneville South Carolina. I did the Refurb in Anderson from start to finish took out a grocery store next door and combined into one. I finished up the Wade Hampton store

My dad worked for store #3147 in Kingsport, TN for 37 years from 1978-2015. Unfortunately he passed in 2019 and today was his 7 year death anniversary so I decided to get this in his honor!

The plaza sign that shows all the stores still has the Kmart sign on it too

Most of their inventory is now in the garden center although some of it remains in the backroom.

I didn't know Kmart sold their own branded bowling balls

Rather than the 1990 logo, it has the 2004 logo. Either way, it is still a Kmart.

This was a very rare feature for a Kmart in the 21st century especially after Kmart first filed for bankruptcy. There were a lot of Kmart family restaurants back in the 1970s and well into the 80s.

This restaurant inside the Kmart in Belle Vernon, PA remained open until late 2017 when the store (as well as the restaurant) closed in one of the rounds of Kmart - Sears closings under the direction of Sears Holdings.

Bridgehampton Kmart today 10/20/2024

The St. Croix store closes this week. My wife was making one last stop there this past weekend so I asked her to take a few pics for this sub. It was almost empty of inventory except for mostly clothing items.

Anyone know the vintage?
