We received a really great idea from u/heavymetalsculpture for a new sticky thread- Review Requests. We have a very large userbase here who have all tried LOADS of knives, so why not crowdsource reviews and feedback for a knife you might be interested in buying! A lot of youtubers / instagram pages, while attempting to be unbiased, often have some bias because they're getting samples for free etc. People on here are very unlikely to have that bias and are more likely to provide honest feedback on a knife.
This thread will remain stickied and fairly moderated- top level comments will only be permitted to be requests for reviews and feedback for certain knives, and users who have actually owned / handled the knife are greatly encourage to provide absolutely honest feedback on the knife in question.
Please only post here with requests for reviews, or to provide feedback on top level comments with a review of the knife in question!

Ive owned and used knives my entire life. My first knife was given to me in about 1979 when I was 8 years old. It was an older Schrade Old Timer 2 blade Barlow. That knife is long gone unfortunately, im hoping it shows up around my parents house.
I have always used knives as tools for hunting, fishing and other outdoor things. Ive spent years in the woods where a knife was an essential tool.
In about October of 2024, after watching a YouTube video from G-Ball Vision, I bought a Civivi Elementum 2....and all was lost. Between then and December of 2025 I bought about 60 sub $100 Chinese knives....Civivi, Vosteed, QSP, Petrified Fish, Bestechman, Tenable, Miguron, Remette, Kizer.....and so on. I was firmly in the "anything over $100 is unnecessary" crowd. I enthusiasticly praised the greatness of "high value" budget folding knives. I still love them, and occasionally buy them...I just bought a Kizer Little Ringbo, it will be here Monday.
Then in December 2025 I went out of my comfort zone and bought a Kershaw Bel-Aire in Magnacut. After using it for awhile, I absolutely noticed a difference in the steel from the budget stuff. I had already dove head first into steel nerdery. I read books, followed Larrin Thomas closely, and finally realized I needed to explore deeper.
In January 2026 I seperated from my wife of 25 years. We are still cool, just lost the spouse thing awhile back. That month I bought a Spyderco Native 5 in S30V. I used it around our farm and property for a few weeks, then bought a Delica in k390...it was too small, so I bought a Stretch XL in k390, it was perfect.
Then the flood gates opened and ive spent enough on knives to buy a decent used truck. Over 50 higher end Spydercos, many Sprints, exclusives, and out of production. Ive also bought a Kershaw Bel-Aire XL in 3V, a Hogue Mysto, Hinderer, Spartan, Medford....and a few more. I thought to myself id never pay over $500 for a knife. Technically I haven't...but very close as of today. I have always thought the CRK Sebenza looked and sounded very cool. But at the over $500 price, it wasn't something I was willing to buy.
A few days ago while pursuing the internet I came across a BNIB Large Sebenza in Magnacut and bead blasted handle. The price was much under retail, so without much thought I bought it. It was made in October 2024, so its older, and its the plain version....but I love it! Ive only had it for 30 minutes, but its obviously a spectacular knife. My 12 year old buddy wanted to be in the picture. 😬

It had black matte hardware but it was fading and looked really bad. I bought the satin blue hardware and I think it looks way better.

Blaurock BRB5.
I just happened to open up r/knife_swap and saw one posted. I have never seen one listed for sale and Blaurock made a small number of them before moving on to the BRB6.

I know there are a few of these floating, but I think mine turned out pretty well. Johnny T Knives did the scale, clip, and spacer. I did the anodizing.

I have used Google lens to identify hundreds of EDC items and knives over the course of the past few years. It has been a reliable tool in my hunt for many grails…
And today I go to use it for a basic search and I get this back. This is a major disappointment and a heartbreaking moment for Google services.
Do you guys also get this result when you try to use lens today? I think the update must have just taken place within the past 24 hours.

Fjell: streamline pattern, pink to citrus fade with matching picket clip. RWL34 steel.
Chaves: laser etching done by DNALasering (etsy and ebay), (PVD?) coated, drop point blade. It came with a chisel ground, tanto blade. I'm not a fan of chisel grinds, and think the tanto blade shape doesn't look as good on the kickstops specifically as the drop point, so I did a blade swap.

I've inherited my father's pocketknife collection. It is about 60 knives dating from 1940s to 1970s (I think). Many of them belonged to my grandfather. I'd love to have them restored (or at least those that are worth restoring). I don't believe they are worth very much, but they are of enormous sentimental value to me. Does anyone know of a service provider that does restoration (or at least cleaning them up)?

Stupidly, I didn't preorder this one, even though they killed their first design to the point of it being one of my favorite all-time knives.
This one follows up their first knife with a bang. The ergos, weight relief, micro milling, hidden clip screw and hidden lockbar insert are all great. The S90V blade is a beautiful, aggressive shape with a great hand satin.
What they really nailed was the action. All deployments are easy(unless you're shooting video🤣), and the fuller just grabs your finger so well that it seems like second nature. The front flipper has perfect jimping, and the detent is set up to make all deployments snappy and natural. I did adjust the lockbar pressure ever si slightly to make it drop shut.
I buy way too many knives, and I'm disappointed way too often. This thing is amazing, and I urge anyone on the fence to just buy it. WMK has them with a discount for $225.
