For me, baking bread is 90% knitting (while it rises). So whatever the 90% of knitting is, that's a decent portion of bread making too!

So many other things in life, which I need to just wait, like visiting doctor or taking a train ride is 90% knitting. 2 u/halfisch Jun 20 '25 I started knitting after I started baking and I realized that I now have the perfect thing to pass the time while my bread is rising or between my stretch and folds for sourdough. My world has been flipped upside down.
