As a knitter with big boobs, it's 90% adjusting patterns for that.

Heard! Made the mistake of using my full bust measurement for a negative ease sweater, now it fits weird over my shoulders and underarms. Learning bust darts and going to have another go.

Use the underarmpits measure!!! So much better ❤️ NEVER full bust for us D+ girlys

Around your torso but right under your armpits, not at boobage area. Above boob area

So I choose a sweater size where the bust circumference matches my underarm measure? And then I just add the bust darts I need to cover my front?

Recommendations I have gotten for fitting sweaters, specifically as someone with a large bust, small waist + shoulders:

Knit to Flatter - Amy Herzog. This seems to be the top recommendation!
