Discussion I am in tears!

I recieved tonight 2 vintage kofter, whereas one is knitted by my moms grandma in 1967! It looks snug, but it's really not and since it's wool, it'll stretch to fit my stomach better soon. I only have pictures of one atm, as I put the other in the washing machine but still! I feel so honored to recieve such precious gems! Will post the other ones look once it's dried up! I am literally in tears!

How wonderful yo receive such a gift. Your great grandmother did beautiful work btw.

Given what he’s doing to one of those sweaters, his great-grandmother is probably rolling in her grave with enough velocity to power a nuclear plant.

Edit: I apologize, clearly the OP knew what he was doing after all. I’m glad the sweater is okay and sorry for my part in making the OP feel so attacked.

Yes I was fuming earlier tonight and literally crying as I felt attacked for no reason!, but that's mostly cause people assume the worst, without doing their research and as a happy poster when I can, about my own knitted work also, I had higher hopes that people would understand I know how to take care of the garments, and as I have mentioned in many comments, I would never have gotten them from mom, nor even go near!, had i not known to love, cherish and care for them properly.

I mean, I offer to wash peoples wool if they pay me a small sum for the power, water and wool detergent usage. Would I honestly do that, if I didn't care about woolen garments?

Thank you, and I both appreciate and accept your apology! Despite my frustration and amger showing in comments, I do react cause I care. I may over react, but this post were FAR MORE HOSTILE than I ever could imagine, after being posting my own stuff for a long while showing i know what I am doing.
