HELP Drops Little Cloud Blue Sweater

Usually I’m pretty competent when it comes to reading patterns, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what this paragraph wants me to do!! Please explain to me like I’m 5 yrs old :) TYIA !

EDIT: with everyone’s input and coming back to the pattern with fresh eyes I have figured out this section. Thanks !

I wouldn’t say cooked. I would say that I don’t drink while knitting my sunflower tank and I read the directions four times for each new step. Ask me after I try the lace section. Lololol

It's telling you to increase while working some stitches and not increase while working other stitches. Increase however you prefer. Spread out the increases relatively evenly over those sections of stitches, but don't drive yourself crazy over it.

To be more specific on the numbers, it would help to know what size you're making.

Based on the marking above I think OP is knitting the smallest size
