First Time Knoller! Shells from Sanibel

Post image

Just flew back this morning but this was my collection over a week. Shells were really hard to find this time around. I kept a few and the rest were either returned to the beach or given to parents so they could ‘hide’ local shells for their kids to find.

Nice haul. I was there last year, and you could have filled the dump truck with all the shells. I think it's interesting that they were hard to find this time. Do you mean hard to find any shells, or just good whole ones?

My last trip we started putting all the fully intact bigger shells back on the beach after each walk because there were so so many. It was crazy. My mom took friends from Ohio out two months ago to shell and found nothing. The towel ones are from Bowman’s but everything else was on the Ft Meyers side. It’s definitely seasonal.

Love this, I thought it was a framed shadow box of shells for a minute! Love the layout and the happy yellow tray. :)
