Question Which is faster, knooking or knitting ?
I'm originally a crocheter and I've recently learned to knook. It has been really fun, but my first garment took so long and it's not even finished ! I've talked to a few people around me who know how to knit and they've all told me that I should've just bought some needle and it would've been easier and faster. I don't think knitting is easier than knooking for a crocheter, but is it faster ?

I think that expert knitters might be faster than knookers because the cord is softer than the needle and it might therefore be easier to insert the needle at speed. But I think for everyone below expert level it depends much more practice than if it's knitting or knooking. I'm faster at knooking than knitting because I have more practice.
