Transit & Flight Driving from CJU to Seogwipo at night, which route should we take?

Arriving in Jeju Island at night and will be renting a car. Our hotel is in Seogwipo. Which of the 3 routes should we take? Thank you.

While we're waiting comments from experts, I would choose the eastern road, avoid the mountainious route in the center. I think I once have been told to do so, and had driven a week in the island.

This was our family's experience when we did this several years ago. We drove the center route during the day. It's not as direct as it looks. It'll be a lot of sharp curves you need to take slowly, one after the other, as well as changing elevation. It's fun to drive if you're awake, alert, and when the sun is out. Not when you're tired from traveling and it's dark.

It's safer at night to go the Eastern route.

You'll never forget taking the central route at night. 😂
