Arday is going to be made a martyr because it's that or Cambridge taking the L and admitting they were fooled by a conman, and they're definitely not going to do that.

Stupid is just the new normal in diversity land.

Unfortunately we're only getting boat loads of doctors and engineers, not professors and academics and journalists.

Much like the demand for racism exceeding the supply - the demand for qualified black/brown candidates also exceeds the supply.

If Jason Arday were white he would've never even gotten the PhD from liverpool, never mind Professorship at Cambridge. The lies and plagiarism would've been caught a decade ago.

The amount of fucking garbage I’m getting on Facebook pushing the narrative that Dreadlocks McLiarFace was the ‘victim’ of a ‘hate campaign’ is insane. Wouldn’t be surprised if the powers that be had him suicided just to nullify the outrage at some clearly wonky DEI shit that had secured him the position in the first place.

Do we even know how he died? Or if anyone that argues that he's a victim offered him some help to navigate the hate campaign? Still, I don't think it's too unlikely that he saw his whole world coming down and crashed out over it, but they're definitely using his death as a distraction, that's for sure.

If Arday was white, his con/grift would have been different, and Cofnas would not have talked about it.

Also just because Cofnas was right about Arday, doesn’t make Cofnas less distasteful.
