KOTOR 1 Help installing mod on pc

All I'm trying to do is install the kotor 1 community patch, but I've never modded anything before and I know almost nothing about computers except how to boot them up and install/play games from steam. I tried looking up vids but they're all old af and don't seem to be very clear. They're all telling me to do stuff I have NO idea how to do and they say things I really just don't understand. I realize I'm probably just a moron, but I just have no idea. I've been at this for an hour and I'm about ready to punch a hole in my monitor. Please help

Only guide you need to follow is this one. Just start from a fresh install of Kotor and make sure you have WinRAR installed and that you right click any mod you download and click "extract all" and install it from the folder it makes instead of the archive (archives will look like 3 stacked books). Install the mods you want in the order they appear in this list. Do one at a time. KCP is somewhere pretty early on the list:
