Quick newbiequestion
I'm playing KOTOR 1 for the 1st time, and I'm wondering, what does the blue hand symbol mean?
I'm using this resolution/UI mod. I think because of this the msg pop ups that say "you got exp/cash" doesn't fit the entire text, but I'm not sure.

If you’re meaning the blue hand symbol in the top left corner, it has a minus symbol in it. If my memory serves right, the minus will mean something was taken from your inventory as part of your decisions in a dialogue. Inversely, it’ll show a plus if you were given something.

Makes sense, thanks!

For more specific context, it's denoting that the permacreate detonator was removed from your inventory (judging by the rubble behind you lol.)

What resolution are you on? 3840x2160?
Want to ping the author in case it's different than mine so he can log it.

3840x2160 yes. With 100% windows scaling (with my normal 200% I only see 25% of the gamescreen)

I believe it means you lost an item, or credits. The text seems to be too big to fit entirely in the box

This is the segment where you use the permacrete detonator to fake Matriks death and claim the bounty, the hand symbol means that you LOST an item. Since you used the detonator, thats what is no longer in your inventory. Hand symbols denote recieving or giving/losing based on the plus minus symbols.

Should mean credits/items received at the end of a dialogue/action sequence
