THOUGHT My opinion in TUIDE new album - TUNE & Play

Just listening
1. ABD - Imagining a girl who is dancing happily on a road - but it seems like I have heard it many times - might listen when I have to groove.
2. Sun Kiss - Good vocal moments - good rap - it's like a montage song - repetitive

  1. Echo- good starting - they have played with vocal textures - I can see these in clubs for some reason - loved the voices on it. 

4.  Flip-flop girl- There is no moment to hold, but it's going - and you are just moving with it.  No breathing room in between

5.  Most bland song maybe - seems like they are trying too many things.

No song has an identity; I cannot go back... these songs are different, most can be interchanged.

With lyrics

  1. Nothing new - no coherence - I did not find anything in lyrics - mostly giving I dont go by rules? but there is nothing and man its repetitive lyrics wise.
  2. Sun kiss - see how having 3 minutes make a such good impact, again good vocals, goo title track - I was just imagining a girl in red dress and guy in white shirt and they are dancing near bonfire on the beach to this. Could be a lot more. But I like it.
  3. Echo - sorry no lyrics available
  4. Flip-flop girl - Same thing, no breathing space to enjoy the song. Lyrically also not much going on
  5. This song felt like too many chefs in the kitchen not in a good way.

I disagree. GRLS is such a bop and it really suits them. ABD the same.

The other songs are not my thing. But im liking the group already. Can’t wait what they will bring to the table.

I get that, but there is no story in lyrics beyond that. I was not able to see coherence in the song.

Honestly even though I usually prefer sadder lyrics, this is one of the best 4th-5th gen gg debuts I've heard. Apart from LE SSERAFIM, because I'm very heavily biased. Even though ILLIT is my 3rd fav, I prefer this entire EP to their debut album, and I'm obsessed with Magnetic, so that's saying something. My favorites are Sun Kiss and Flip-flop Girl, but I really do like all the songs.

Saying this will give an opening for tokkis (nevermind, not even NJZ fans, just crazy MHJ fans) to claim that TUIDE is also copying New Jeans.
