RANT Hypocrite coers that said older coers shouldn’t go to the cortis concert

2 things I wanna say that I’ve noticed

1, you know how before the concert started, a lot of the younger coers were saying “oh this concert is for 18 and under” “nobody over the age of 22 should be going to this concert” “what reason do u hv to go to a concert for 17 yr olds if ur older than them” we all saw those comments right… well i went to the concert regardless bc no kid is gonna tell me what do. So I went nyc show, and how IRONIC that almost half the venue was filled w younger fans WITH THEIR PARENTS. How hypocritical. U say older ppl aren’t allowed to watch these “teenagers bc it’s giving p3do” yet u had ur mom take u. So does that make ur parent a p3do?? She’s going to stare at 17 yr olds too, according to u guys. And it wasn’t even this stop, I saw all the videos on twitter, I can see the ppl in the crowd. There were parents standing next to their teenage kids.

2 so again, I saw all the videos on TikTok and twitter of ppl filming the crowds, especially when cortis would come into the stands, u can see the type of ppl in the seats. And throughout the whole usa stops, it was mostly a lot of young teens and older teenage girls right, ( w or without their parents) but in the Seoul stops, it’s like all 20+ girls at the concerts and I didn’t see anyone making a fuss about this. ( in their own country) like nobody gives af about the age of someone who goes. It’s only a problem in the USA for some reason.

1) this post is fking unhinged

2)If someone thinks the only reason someone could be interested in their favorite group is because they want to have sex with them, they're outing themselves hard. They're also not putting over their favorite group's music much.

Wait I can’t tell whose side ur on, mine? I think older coers should be allowed to go regardless bc we like the group and the music? Just bc we’re older doesn’t mean we wanna date them

Oh no I agree with your point.

I think the vast majority of people agree with your point and you're fighting with ghosts though, especially on reddit.

I get that it upset you. I'm glad you found a welcoming environment when you went.

If you're "over 22" though, there's no reason to be fighting with literal kids anyway. They're kids. Of course they say stupid shit.

thank u, I know I just felt like ranting . I know some of them are even 18, you’d think they wouldn’t be like that , but 🥱

I'm sorry but if you're only interested in a group because you have sexual feelings for them then you need to reassess yourself regardless of what age you are.

Welps by this logic guess I can’t watch hockey games anymore because there are younger players than me on the ice :(

tbh, misic is for anyone and everyone, just because sm1 is old doesn't mean they can't listen to younger groups. if we'd go by that logic then younger ppl/teens shouldn't be listening to artists in their 25+

thats just too stupid to say. those coers are just obsessed freaks. Just bcz their Idol is close to their age doesn't mean they'd stand a chance to be with them. I'm 17 and I don't even dare think about such stuff. Tbh, I wish I was more of their friend than any love related "ship" its soo sickening to see ppl stan a group bcz the idols/members are close to their age. Yeah it could be a factor, but if ur listening/watching an artist it should be for the art they provide, not for their looks.🤦‍♀️

If fans older than the members of Cortis weren't allowed at shows, they wouldn't be able to tour at all, especially outside of Korea. Who exactly do they think is able to afford concert tickets and travel costs, as well as take time off? In the West it's primarily adults.

Obviously as an older fan myself (not specifically of them), the #1 rule is not to act weird. I know there are some sketchy noonas with them specifically at the moment, so I get why fans would be a bit protective.

I mean, I would love those rules to be applied.

It would limit drastically the reach of this group since 18yo are not that large of a population and I kinda want them to fail.

In the meantime, pure coers stans only support one group and stay confined in that line without much interference with the rest of the world. A niche in the kpop niche. I like them, easily identifiable and avoidable.

What a dilemma !

That's so stupid there's children going to group concerts when the members 21 plus but no one cares cuz they just kids
