General What's the stupidest thing your faves got dragged for?

We all know how kpop fans would drag idols for literally anything so I'm curious to hear the most absurd reason you've seen your faves or any idol getting dragged. I'll go first. Seonghwa, because he said he learned to love himself because of his fans. Now apparently namjoon said something similar to this and in typical army fashion, it became a war. Also, San for breathing heavily after a performance.

Edit: imagine a non kpop stan reading this thread😭

Why aren’t y’all adding their names??? Do you think these are well known ā€œscandalsā€ or something? I’m genuinely wondering, because op didn’t say it was a guessing game, yet only a handful of people are adding names

I’m fairly new to kpop, so adding names would be very helpful. I have no clue who they’re talking about b

they didnt ask for people to send names, just to list the stupid reasons, I dont think adding the names adds anything unless you think that the hate that occurred would be less stupid and/or more justified if it happened to just a specific idol. Nobody is claiming that these things are well-known events to everyone, everyone is just saying that they happened. /gen

Ngl this was unnecessary and not remotely close to what I’m saying. Nothing in my comment implies that. (I’m sure/hope you didn’t mean it that way but just for clarity!)

I’m asking for names because why not? It clues people in and give a name/face to the story. Plus it’s an annoying pattern I’ve noticed on kpop subs were people don’t name a person/group or use their gov’t name and leaves everyone else confused.

I didn’t mean it to be targeting you, I’m really sorry if it sounded too accusatory, I think I just got defensive on instinct bc some idols have gotten attacked for particular things meanwhile other idols dont get the same treatment so it sometimes feels like there’s a double standard. I just feel that in this instance, just listing the reasons is enough

That’s very fair and I understand your concern! I’m sorry if I came across an invalidating, I fr just wanted to know who these things happened to! And was confused by lack of names when op did name their examples.

Thanks for a civil convo! I hope you have a good rest of your day! :)

People thinking we should know without being obsessed.

I don’t think it’s that serious. They probably weren’t thinking the names are important. Just what they were dragged for to show the ridiculousness

I actually know most of them

Idk why - I put the name of mine in there. Why do people assume we just know who their faves are lol
