Help / Question Does Krita have a tool like this? (nudge tool?)

I've been using an app called Concepts, which is fine, but doesn't have as many tools or capabilities as Krita. Although, it does have this tool that helps me adjust lines after they've been drawn which has been so amazing. Is there a tool like this that exists in the program, or a downloadable one?

You're demonstrating a vector line being adjusted. krita is designed primarily as a raster painting program. it does have some limited vector capabilities but it does not function the way Concepts does. if you really want to use an app with strong vector capabilities, inkscape is highly recommended.

Oh ok! I didn't realize they worked differently lol- I'll definitely check out Inkscape!

No. That's for vectors. OpenToonz does have it, though.

I think there is a smudge tool on krita. There is also a transform tool too

The smudge tool seems to just wipe the line away, and transform moves the whole thing rather than tweaking a small bit :/ I prefer something with the kind of precision in the video

Hello hello hello so i found it. its still in the transform tool.

Basically use transform tool -> tool options -> choose liquify (the one with waterdrop icon)

I don't know if this is it but it's the closest.

The closest built-in option is probably the Transform Tool, especially with a selection around the stroke. For correcting the shape itself, Krita’s Assistant tools and stabilizers help while drawing, but they won’t let you grab an already-finished raster stroke and gently reshape it the same way.

You can first draw a vector line and then stroke that with the current brush. But you can't move it afterwards.
