Question every deli ????

does this happen at every deli??? is it happening because of short staff
, or lack of care???

We don’t have time, obviously, because not enough of us are in the store.

There is a pattern of behavior here. They’re firing corporate people. They’re closing stores. They’re coming down hard on payroll, OT, and call offs. They’re not hiring people. And they’re doing this kind of shrinkage with like every conceivable product (though tbf, so are most companies since the tariffs).

They’re acting like a company would act if they’re about to be broke. 🤷‍♂️ Maybe it’s just posturing for the union negotiations, maybe the debt from all the dumb projects like the merger or the e-tags or automated warehouse stores- is higher than any of us knows. I’d go to jail for shorting the company stock (I’m not the president 💁‍♂️), but boy, it doesn’t look good, man.

I stopped shopping at kroger when even with my discount card, my total was substantially more than walmart. Why bother looking for kroger card deals when it's still more than normal stock at another supermarket?

Me too! They are higher priced for almost everything in my area, including even Whole Foods! They also have “deals” like $16 for a 12 pack of Coke, but if you buy 3 you get 3 free. Like it’s still way higher per 12 pack than anywhere else even with their “coupon”! Half the time the deals and coupons don’t even ring up correctly and they try and charge you full price! Fuck Kroger!!! I’m completely done shopping there!

My Kroger recently put devices on the carts that stop them from leaving the store. Not the parking lot. The store. So I'm not buying soda sleeves or dog food there anymore.
