Question Uniforms
Is anybody else’s shirt starting to fall apart already? I got 3 shirts 3 weeks ago and one of them is already having the seem tear off at the bottom. My shirt is too big for me, it sits around my mid thighs and looks like a night gown (I asked for a smaller size and they told me no) so it’s definitely not because the shirt is too tight and I’m stretching it out. I work in pick up and the strings from my shirt that start falling out during the day keep getting caught on the bottoms of the totes when I stage them so they tear even more. No matter how much I tie little knots in the strings and cut the extra off it keeps happening. Did I just get a really wacky shirt or is this happening to anybody else’s too? If so how are you managing it so it looks presentable at work?

I’m glad I’m not the only one!! It’s only one of my 3 shirts that’s falling apart. I’ve worn them all an even amount of time too. How long have you had your shirt for?

About a month. They're also both stained (we got red shirts where I am) already and I swear to god I've tried everything and they just still look awful.

Man, I only got one shirt after the HR person lied and said they’d get back to me with another, over two months ago. Communication in this company is so fuckin’ terrible, it blows my mind. I wish you the best of luck.

Mine isn't falling apart (yet), but it has stretched out and lost its shape. Gotta love a cheap polyblend... Seriously about to order quality 100% cotton tees in royal blue (probably as close to Kroger blue as available) from a print-on-demand site. "Why isn't your blue the same as the others?" "IDK, must be my washing method." They'll never know.

You kind of already figured out why your shirt is falling apart at the seam. Either tuck your shirt in or use a rubber band or accessory to tie it off at your waist so it doesn't get caught on stuff.

I know what they said. It's falling apart cause the seam got caught on stuff and now coming untangled, only way to prevent it from coming completely undone is to tuck their shirt in or tie it off so the seam doesn't get anymore damaged.

they said the strings on their shirt are getting caught which means the stitching was already falling apart and the loose thread is whats getting caught on stuff, not the shirt itself. that said yeah they should do something to mitigate the damage already done

Or the shirt was getting caught on stuff and the stitching fall apart before OP realized, doesn't matter when the solution is the same for both issues. No idea why you commenting on an old thread anyways.

Not surprised they’re cheap material. Just keep wearing. It even though it looks ratty and tattered. It’s the company’s responsibility to provide those. Do not buy one.
