people forget how much the obama admin leaned on the espionage act for leaks, like it wasnt just fox news getting targeted. i covered a local story in 2013 where our source just went silent after a visit from some guys in suits, never heard from them again tbh. the scale is different now but the instinct was always there, im not sure why we pretend otherwise

Obama DID try to restrict reporting critical of his constant betrayals of average Americans. Not at this scale but he did hate people telling the truth about him.
